Location
Millslade sits in the heart of Exmoor National Park, in the picturesque village of Brendon. The East Lyn River runs just metres away on its journey down to Lynmouth and the famous Doone Valley is just a short distance away.
Windswept moorland, dramatic coastlines, plunging river valleys and ancient woodland provide constantly changing vistas. Brendon is perfectly placed to explore all that Exmoor, North Devon and West Somerset have to offer.

Rugged coves to sandy surf beaches
From dramatic Lynmouth and Lee Bay nearby, to the sandy surf beaches at Croyde and Saunton Sands around 40 minutes away.

Exmoor Adventure offer coasteering, kayaking, rock and tree climbing along the rugged North Devon coast along with e-bike and mountain bike hire. Fishing, boat trips and diving are available locally.
Nature & wildlife

Exmoor has a rich diversity of nature and wildlife. Perhaps its best known inhabitants are the famous Exmoor ponies which graze the moor. It has the largest number of red deer outside of Scotland and there have, in recent years been several reintroduction projects. In addition, Exmoor was Europe's first International Dark Sky Reserve and there are organised stargazing events throughout the year.
